Problems with album art and songs order

Renanbg

Question

Hi,

I am trying record a mp3 cd using "Music Disk Creator"

My car player shows the album art for any CD

I am editing the MP3 tag and I am using the browse button to find the imagem JPG.

So after recording, the album art is not displayed. In your place is displayed a cd box, maybe by roxio default.

the other problem is the order of songs. I have organized all songs in the project, but they are played off this order.

any idea?

Well guys, after burn five cd's I found out a way to record the songs in desired order and using the album art.

First of all, you must create the folders and put the mp3 files into.

To burn songs in order has two ways.

Open the Music Disk Creator and add your files.

Method 1- Go to project settings and select the box as shown. (thanks sknis)

Using this method the order of songs are burned as you can see in the project.

Method 2- Select the songs one by one and click in the "Edit Auto Tags" button. Fill the field "Track Number" in order. The field that has the number 1 will be the first music played after burn.

Now, if you like view the album art in your player, you have to import the image, using the browse button as you can see above.

Save the project.

If you try burn using the "Music Disk Creator" only the order will be burned correctly. To burn in order and display the album art, you must go to the main page of Roxio Creator 2010 and select the option "Burn MP3 CDS". Select your files and burn.

Doing this way I finaly was capable to burn.

I hope this help.

It must be a nice player. The first one is easy. In Music Disc Creator, after you have chosen mp3 disc, go to project setting and select the box as shown.

The album art information is based on what I know of the program. I don't have any fancy players that will show album art.

When you go to edit the tags on the piece of music, you have to browse for the album art if it is not already shown. The check the "use" and "embed" options.

Perhaps someone with more experience with using album art will come around and agree/correct that I posted.

Hi sknis,

The first option I tryed and the files are displayed in order, but the folders are not. In the screen you can see the order of the folders. After burn the folders are dispalyed in alfabetic order.

As far as Alphabetical order that's the way it works.

Since you are creating an mp3 disc you are essentially creating a data disc.

Windows treats data alphabetically. So what you're seeing is Windows organizing things.

Either rename the folders or just add a numeric in front of the name so you have for example 01 Pearl Jam,02 Kiss and 03 Gun's and Roses.

I noticed that you had 'use MusicID tags' checked. Did you actually get the tags from MusicID or did you fill in your own (I rather suspect from what you said that you browsed for the album art that it's the latter).

So does it work in Music Disc creator if you uncheck that box?
