Roxio Media Experience cannor be found....

I recently upgraded to Roxio 10 using a download installation file purchased via Roxio. Everytime I start Win XP now I get an annoying message to the affect...

 

"An installation package for the product Roxio Media Experience cannot be found. Try the installation again using a valid copy of the installation package".

 

I have to continue to cancel the multiple popup messages all stating the same thing. Anyone know how to get rid of these messages?

 

Otherwise, Roxio seems to function fine..

Media Experience is not part of the Creator 2010 package. If I'm not correct that is bundled as part of OEM software (ie. HP or Dell) and is at least 2 or 3 years old.

Prepare your computer and then run the REPAIR in Windows Add/Remove programs.

 

BTW, refer to the Pogram as Creator 2010 to differentiate it from Easy Media Creator 10. Roxio 10 has not meaning except perhaps there might be an OEM version floating around somewhere.
