Slide Shows

Lady Avalon

Question

Am new to Roxio Creator 2010. I would like to create a slide show of photos with a title page, photos, and an end page with my own audio. I would like to burn this onto a dvd to play on my tv using my dvd player.

I was able to create a slide show with many different transitions inserted between slides using Roxio Video Wave. The different transitions really make a difference to the slide show. I didn't have an option though to create a title page.

I was also able to create a dvd slide show using Roxio My DVD. In this program, I found a very nice animated title page that I love. However, I was not able to have different transitions between the slides like I was in the Video Wave program.

Is there a way to use the title page in the My DVD program and transfer it to the Video Wave program?

Thank you.

What do you mean by Title page? Are you referring to the menu page that appears when you launch myDVD? Those cannot be used in Videowave. You can have the same transitions in myDVD that you used in Videowave.

Videowave is strictly for creating the slideshow: adding pictures, transitions, audio etc. It cannot be created to authour the DVD. You then save you project as a VW project file using the Save As option. Exit VW and launch myDVD and using Add, navigate to where you saved the dmsm file and add it. Your myDVD project will now contain the VW project with all the bells and whistles. Now you can create your Title (ie menu) page. and then burn to DVD.
