help me please--i just recorded a1 hr 35 min movies using easy vhs to dvd, the file size on my hard drive is 5.59g and the dics capacity is 4.7 how do i reduce the file size so it will fit on the disc.
I would like to add a follow on question. I'm picking up this software at lunch, to do a bunch of old home movies on VHS-C.
I just did some MiniDV movies to WMV format, and it worked out to about 2 gigs per hour. That's about as big as I can manage and still afford to store and backup all of this.
What do you guys recommend as far as "quality" goes (what format should I save in) if I want to keep it around the "2 gigs per hour" size--and will that produce satisfactory results, given the source material (VHS-C)?
I do NOT plan to burn DVDs. I've got a Windows Media extender (on the XBOX 360) and we've been viewing pictures and videos that way.
