burning video

Question

Using Roxio Creator 2009 and its USB capture device - After capturing video from VCR or DVR, the AVI file quality is good, but when I convert it into an ISO file and burn a DVD, the result has 1 or 2 seconds of video and audio static every 60 seconds. I am running Widows Vista Home Premium on an HP Pavillion dv6000 computer.

What if you load the .ISO image into Disc Image Loader (part of Creator 2009) as a virtual DVD, and play from that? Do you get the same static every 60 seconds? Are you playing your DVD on your PC, or a standalone player, or both? And same results in both places?

Let us know.
