DVD-Video and menus.

Xanrov

Question

I recently found how to make menus ( with images) for Video DVD containing several movies. But the disks I obtain, when inserted in my Mac, starts playing the first movie and it's only with the commands of Apple's DVD-Player that I can see the menus and chapters. How can I make the disk to first present the menu when inserted ?

I have Toast 10 on Snow Leopard.

Thanks for advice.

There are check boxes for this at the left side of the Toast video window (when DVD video is selected as the format). One box is to automatically start playback when the disc is inserted. Make sure this is unchecked so the menu appears first. The other is for continuous play from one title to the next. Uncheck this if you want the menu to reappear when each title is finished playing.
