pulling the audio off a dvd to make an audio cd

TrentFreeman

Question

I have creator 2010 and I am trying to pull the audio off a wmv file and make a cd file of just the audio. I tried to use the syncit and it said that it converted it but the file did not work. So I need some help with pulling the audio off the wmv file and just copying the audio and puting it on a cd

I am new to roxio so this is probably really simple I looked in the book and could not find an easy way to do this

thanks

You are right, this is really simple. Launch Videowave (Edit Video -advanced), add the wmv file, right click on the clip in the timeline (or the panel in the storyline) and a drop down menu appears. Near the bottom of the list is an option to "Extract Audio". You can extract to a wav file which you can then burn to a CD as long as it "fits" on the CD.
