Slow Motion

Jo B

Question

How do you get it to do slow motion. I have been into the search index and it has nothing about it that i can find.

I have double clicked on the clip and i has a thing about speed, it usually runs a 1.0, i have put that down to .5 and doesn't work on the clip when you run it but when you go into the internal track it has it as slow motion?

So it does work???

Some things to note:

It only works on the Video Track – if you are going to use it as an Overlay, you must edit it as a separate Video and do an Export As first! Then add it to your Production.

It cannot be applied in the actual Trim window… it is only applied when you exit.

Seems to be a rather convoluted way to achieve slow motion (or speeding up a video clip) I will go back to my old and true "Adobe Premiere"

where one can accomplish this on the fly. Too bad Roxio does not offer a better solution for fast-slow motion since I use this feature quite often for demo movies.

I don't know what you find convoluted. 2 or 3 mouse clicks and you have adjusted the speed.
