Easy CD and DVD Burning

I am converting at home videos (from a video camera) to DVD's. I am using Easy CD and DVD Burning. The audio from the video is not playing when I transfer the file from "quick time" (how my computer saved it) to Roxio. Is there something im missing or does this program not allow this?

The user there suggested copying your .MOV files to another folder and then changing the file extension from .MOV to .MP4 and trying things with the renamed MP4 files.

 

Please tell us if that works for you.

I don't have any more suggestions. I'll leave it open for anyone who uses MOV files and can help.

What is the actual file extension ~ QT will associate itself with everything but that does not mean you can assume it is a MOV file…

 

What camcorder?

Ah, the Aiptek… One of our Guru's had one for a short time and took it back!

 

By changing the extension from MOV to MP4 it worked but that was with the Full Versions of the Roxio Creator Suite, not the MyDVD Express that is in the Roxio Burning.

 

I have one and while there is Audio in the renamed MP4 when previewed, I cannot add it to the project..

 

You might try some 3rd party converter program with it.

it is being saved as a .MOV file. i tried saving it as a .MP4 file and a .AVI file. The video camera is an Aiptek 720p HD. It saves its files through an SD card.
