SDW
I have Toast 10, and have successfully transferred video, and burned DVD-R and DVD+R DL discs. I have two questions: 1. After transferring video from my Tivo, is there a way to edit out commercials or other unwanted content prior to burning to disc? 2. If the answer to #1 is no in Toast, are there any other programs that can open and edit .tivo files? Thanks in advance, Scott
tsantee
Yes. After the video is transferred to the Toast Video or Convert windows click Edit and then click Edit again. This launches the Toast Video Player/Editor. Find a place to start and edit and click the double-triangle at the bottom of the window. Drag half the triangle to the place you want the edit to end. Continue with other edits. The part between the triangles is the part that will be removed. Choose Save and return to Toast. When you make a DVD or convert the video Toast will exclude the portions you edited.
