immaculatelation
Right out of the box, the Roxio video capture USB device causes a loud crackling/buzzing sound to emit from the speakers when the video capture program is running. The connected cameras have no bearing on this noise. I have adjusted volume levels, made sure the drivers are installed, checked for conflicts, and tried updating my audio drivers, although I believe I already had the most up-to-date drivers available. The noise only occurs when two conditions are met: the device is connected and the capture program runs. I can turn the volume all the way down to get rid of the noise, but the noise is emitted at a much higher volume than the system audio, so that is irrelevant. The crackling always drowns out the audio. Anyone have an idea what could be causing the trouble?
