Thanks "Record what you hear" is a function of the sound card and its drivers. Depending on what O/S you have, go into your Sound and Audio Devices and look in the Recording and see if you have "what you hear" or Stereo Mix/Wave Out Mix or a similar option. I also have Audacity and have the same problem. Thanks In Win 7 using Roxio Creator 2010 I had same problem using a tape deck. Went to Start, Help & Support.
