Creator 2010

I originally bought Roxio Easy VHS to DVD but could never get it to work properly on my new computer with Windows 7. I now upgraded to Creator 2010. I did a clean uninstall to get rid of the Easy VHS program. I installed Creator 2010 but it will not open up. The "Roxio" box comes up then nothing. What is wrong here? Thanks

Did you prepare your computer like this?

 

1) Turn off your anti-virus and try to repair the Installation using Windows Add or Remove progams.

2) If that doesn't work, then uninstall all Roxio software using revo Uninstaller in the Moderate mode, get rid of junk files and defrag. Do anyhting in that first link that you didn't do before and reinstall. Find the tools here.

3) If still nothing you will have to do the full uninstall/install.

 

I'm moving this thread to the install section of the forum; a Roxio person watches out for these types of installlation issues.

 

Try removing .NET 3.5 SP1 and resinstalling from Windows Update.
