Video Editing & ATI Radeon HD 5700 Problems

manster

Question

I recently changed my PC from an Quad Core PC with integrated Intel Graphics on the motherboard

to an Intel iCore 7 PC with an ATI Radeon HD5700 PCI Express Card w/1 GB Ram and now everytime I try to Edit Video, the software returns a "There is insufficient graphics capabilities to run this application". I have tried numerous times to unistall the drivers and tried 3 different versions of the ATI driver from the one in the box, to an updated version, to the latest from their website and still I get the same error. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Creator 2010 twice and applied SP2 to it and still the same error.

Here are some specs of the PC and software:

i7 3.2 GHZ CPU, Asus P6T Motherboard, 4 GB DDR-3 Ram, ASUS EAH 5770 Video Card w/ 1 GB DDR-5 Ram, Windows XP Professional w/ SP3, ATI Video Driver V.8.7.1.2 (3-2-2010), Roxio Creator

2010 V.1.2.193 w/ SP2. DXdiag utility is reporting Version 9.0.

Has anybody experienced the same problem or know of the solution or have the configuration or video card and running without problems  ? Are there any PCI Express cards out there that are guaranteed to run without any problems with Creator 2010? My thinking is that since the PC is only 2 weeks old I can have the Video card changed to another brand like an Nvidia for example. Any help would be really appreciated as this very frustrating and I have ideas left on what to try next.
