I am having a problem transferring the Saved TiVo programs that I created with TiVo Transfer back to the TiVo using Mac2Tivo. The files work fine when I view them on the Mac using the Toast Video Player. Since these files are ".Tivo" files, and Mac2Tivo requires the MPG file type, I have to change the file type by changing the ending to ".mpg" for each file. Then the files are recognized by Mac2Tivo, and I do see them on the "Now Playing" list on my TiVo DVR under the name of my computer.
THE PROBLEM is that when I select the program to transfer on TiVo (the TiVo HD model), it only starts the transfer for a split second and then stops. The result is that I get a title shown on the "Now Playing" list, but it has a length of zero. I only see a blank screen if I try to play it, then it asks me if I want to delete it when I press the stop button on the TiVo remote.
I have Mac OS 10.5.8 (which I specifically bought so I could run Toast 10!)
