Pre-Sales 64 bit questions

edb2010

Question

Greetings,

I own a Dell M6500 with Extreme Quad Core (8CPUs) and 16 gigs of RAM. I also Own the DVD-IT Pro 6 which I am considering to upgrade to HD. Seeing that HD is not on a Trial basis, I am concerned over several things.

1. Does is support Windows 7 / 64-bit OS (Web site does not tell me).

2. How much faster is the Burn time using the configuration noted above?

3. What current issues are there for 64-bit?

4. Comparisons on Burn Times between the Pro 6 (32-bit) and HD (64-bit).

I appreciate your help.

works fine here with Win7/64

burn time is determined by the burn speed of the burner and by the burn speed capability of the inserted BD-R

DVDit is a 32bit applications so the 64bit OS will not make anything faster

There is not much software capable of 64bit at this stage

example, open the 64bit version of Internet Explorer and visit youtube, you will see nothing, because Adobe have not made a flash player plugin to work with 64bit
