BJ100
I had a virus on my computer and subsequently had to have it restored to factory settings- everything gone. Luckily, well, kind of, I had some stuff backed up on discs from Staples but they used Roxio Retrieve as the program when they did the data backup. I'm now having trouble transferring my Outlook contacts from Roxio back to Outlook. How do I do this? It's quite frustrating and I'm annoyed Btw, the Outlook contacts was saved as outlook.pst if that matters.

Contact Staples and see if they can provide you with with a copy of whatever Roxio retrieve version they used.

If I go to Staples I'm just going to get the guy to do it for me since he decided to use this crazy program than didnt't even work on my household computers except one (back in Feb). I'm just trying to save myself a trip all the way over there. They can't do anything over the phone anyway... Actually, it'd be great to have you post your solution here so others that might find themselves in a similar situation could solve their problem quicker! Thanks in advance! ggrussell
I thought Roxio retrieve was saved on each disc. Has been a long time since I've used it though. I always keep a backup copying of my outlook.pst in several places. Use the Export - Copy to .pst You can only export one folder at a time, but better than no backup at all.
