.toast an unsupported format in Toast 9?

Question

I took some advice to "Save as a Disc Image" a HD movie file from iMovie. After it was saved to my Desktop, I dragged it into the Toast 9 Content Area to burn a DVD. Low and behold I got a popup message that my .toast file "is in an unsupported format and cannot be imported". That seems odd but maybe someone can explain it?

Your disc image is of a Blu-ray disc project, right? Then use the Image File setting in the Toast Copy window to burn it to disc.

Ok the .toast file has been dragged into the Copy/Image File area. Do I choose "Select..." or "Mount" or simply hit the red button?

Once you've added your .toast disc image file just click the red button to burn the disc. The Select... button is another way for you to add the image file to the window. Mount.. opens the disc image so it appears in the Finder the same as when you insert a CD or DVD. You don't need to be concerned with it if you're just wanting to burn the disc.
