Edit video on DVD after Plug&Burn

nothing

Question

Try looking through this breakdown of Chapters and Scenes – Here

Some things only work under specific tabs and there are good reasons for that.

I am new to the forum. Just got started last week. I can get the vhs to dvd and view the VOB(?) file. How do I edit the dvd? Unfortunately, my vhs tape got stuck in vcr and had to destroy vcr to save tape. Can't try again tonight. If I'm editing the dvd do I do something other than plug and burn?

You cannot edit the video that is burned on the DVD. You would have to copy back the Video_TS folder on the DVD back to your hard drive and then you can edit the video.

If you want to edit the captured video do not use Plug&Burn but use "Capture Video" and capture the video to a file on your hard drive. If you plan to do a lot of editing capture to the avi format (will require about 1 GB for every 5 minutes of video) else you can capture to mpeg if you only plan minor edits.
