Preferred Settings are not retained

Hi,

 

I am a new user of this Suite, and I would like to have certain settings remain set as defaults within the Apps of this suite.

 

For example under Plug and Burn and Media Capture, I would like the default Video Format to remain as PAL I, and only change when another format is detected. Under Media Capture, I would like the default save format to be DVD LP, and on Plug and Burn I would like the deafult save format to be Good Quality.

 

These Apps have their own defaults which always appear as the default, and they don't suit me.

 

Any help suggestions and advice will be appreciated.
