Easy VHS to DVD

Jimmybuck

Question

I am trying to make a movie. I put some of the captured video scenes together, edit and save them. Then I put other captured video scenes together, edit and save them. Now how do I put these two together to make the movie.

Thanks Tim

What program are you using? You posted in the EMC 9 forum but mention VHStoDVD in your subject line? Those are two completely different programs.

Also please expand on what you did exactly. What program from the suite did your use? Propably Videowave? What do you mean by "save them"? In Videowave when you "save" all you do is save the project file which only contains the list of instrcutions and source file that you are using in your project. To combine two movies, at least one of the movies has to be a a video format which is created by using the "Output" option.

Sorry. This is the first time I have used this forum in a while. Not good at navigating around.

I am using Easy VHS to DVD.

I capture several video scenes with my video camera. I select the capture button and capture them to my computer. I select edit video and select new production. I create what I call one scene by adding some of the captured video scenes together and editing them. Then I close this screen and it ask me if I want to save the production, I click yes. Maybe the next day I go in and select the edit button again and select new production.

Add and edit some of the captured scenes that I have not edited yet. Close the screen and select save this production.

This is going to be a long movie and I am not filming all of the scenes in there normal sequence. If I were, I know I could just keep adding to the same production each time.

Making a Western with my grand kids in it.

I guess what I am really asking, is there a way to add two or more productions together to make one movie?

Would it be better if I went to the VHS to DVD forum to get this answer?

Thanks Tim

Within the Suite, the Edit Video button will take you to VideoWave.

This is an excellent editor where you can mix & match clips & stills. Of course to be powerful, it becomes complex but users have put together some pretty good examples.
