Edit solutions

NickD

Question

Every so often in certain video downloads when played back, the entire video has an annoying flickering from dark to light. Does Roxio or any third party have a solution to correct this problem before I burn?

Also I must add, I am very disappointed with Roxio that has joined the rest of corporations who no longer have a human voice to contact with. especially with many who are in search of work.

Are you referring to a shimmering around bright edges such as a chain link fence or chrome bumper?

No, The entire frames Flickers or Flashes from light to normal off and on. Sort of like a light bulb with a loose connection. Thanks for your reply

I'm sorry but I haven't seen this and don't know why it is happening for you. You mention downloading and playing a video. How is Toast involved in that?

I didn't say Roxio was. My first inquire was to find out if Toast or Roxio had a software or plug-in for this

annoyance or suggest some other third party. I am told that some of the very expensive Video Editing such as Final Cut or Adobe's and a few others do have this correction fix it. Buy as a retiree, it's out of my league.

Listen I appreciate your concern, but from your questions, I don't think your even close to my problem. So thanks anyhow

Toast has no feature to modify how a video looks. Sorry, I thought you were saying the problem appeared after using Toast to encode or convert a downloaded video. You might try the Mac forum at videohelp.com to learn if someone there has a good suggestion.
