Does Roxio support Burn Proof Technology in the firmware

Burnproof

Question

Does Roxio support Burn Proof Technology in the firmware of Roxio Creator Business Edition.

I am told this is a technology that Sanyo first introducd 7 yrs ago. It helps ensure that CDs burn correctly when they are interrupted by other things pulling on the system requirements.

Buffer Underrun protection has been included since I can't recall when

However, it's never a good idea to start running lots of other apps, especially if rendering a video clip (that takes a LOT of processing power)

In the end tho, it's the drive buffers that actually do the work and not the software

All of these are for situations where your computer is unable to send data to the drive quickly enough to keep the buffer full. They will not help you if your computer loses power, your software crashes, your media is of poor quality, or you smack the drive hard enough to disrupt the recording process.

Nearly all CD recorders announced in or after 2001 featured some variation of buffer underrun protection.
