You did not do what I told you to do. :)

"There is nothing called "Creator Classic" in version 8 that I can see. I remember having that in 7.5.

Those are Sonic version number, read Bruces post again to get the EMC version numbers.

Do you have the EMC 8 Esentials, EMC 8 Suite or the EMC 8 Deluxe version? Only the Deluxe version has all features enabled.

I have EMC 8 Suite.

I have EMC 8 Suite.

You need to look for it in the Home menu but if you use the Start/All Programs/Roxio you will see it listed. To see it in the Home menu, click the Applications button under the house icon at the top left.

Hi:

When I create a slideshow, I am manually setting the slideshow length because the "fit to audio" button is disabled. What can I do to enable this feature?

Thanks for your help!

What version of the software do you have? It might be something that is not available on the version you own.

I had a similar problem making a slide with multiple songs, what I did was use "Goldwave" to merge several songs into one long track, and then the fit to button worked. Hope this helps you, CaptThom

For a simple merge like that (or even one more complex) you can use Sound Editor but the other posts gives a better technique for VideoWave (add music to the audio track, you can precisely time where you want music to start and stop.).

I just downloaded it last night.

Roxio Easy Media Creator 8

Build: 3.0.96B

I don't know why this won't work for you as it works fine for me but you might want to try building your slideshow in Videowave which gives you more control.

Open Creator Classic, click on Help, then on About. You get the version number there. The one that you listed is a Sonic version number.

Thanks for the advice. That is just what I did & it works fine in that program. I guess I'll just only use Videowave from now on....it's a much better program anyway.
