sknis
I have no sound when playing a vidie with avi sound when using Roxio CinePlayer. How do I solve this? What kind of AVI file? If you open CinePlayer and go to tools and then the audio tab. is the correct playback device selected? Is that playback device enabled in W7, not muted and volume at or above mid point? Are you having any other audio issues?
tkstone
What kind of AVI file? IT IS VIDEO FROM A FLIP CAMERA. If you open CinePlayer and go to tools and then the audio tab. is the correct playback device selected? I DID CHANGE THE PLAYBACK TO THE SPEAKERS ON THE COMPUTER, WHICH WORKED; BUT IT WOULD NOT WORK USING THE USB SPEAKERS. Is that playback device enabled in W7, not muted and volume at or above mid point? THIS SEEMS TO BE FINE Are you having any other audio issues? NO. THANKS FOR YOUR RESPONSE AND SUGGESTIONS. sknis
I don't think your computer speakers are configured correctly. I don't have W7 so I can't give you more information. If it plays with your computer speakers, then the file is OK. and the program is working correctly. You'll just have to make sure your audio devices are enabled and selected in W7. Right click on the speaker icon on the system tray and make sure that your speakers are enabled. Also look at the "Volume Mixer" setting to make sure that the entry for Roxio is not muted when the program is open. The image is from Vista 64 bit. Are you sure it is an AVI file format. I thought that it was a MOV or mp4 type file. Is the camcorder HD or standard definition. Do you have the full version of Creator 2009? Some of the OEM software programs won't play the AAC audio. Beerman
Will Windows Media Player play the file? What type of avi file is it......divx, xvid? You may also want to download the AC3 filter which many files use now.
