trouble getting roxio 2010 to download

vipersrt10

Question

I just purchased Roxio Creator +2010. And I'm having trouble getting it to download. I'm getting an error message that says my system configuration does not support any products. And then it kicks me off. Can anyone please help me. I have a Dell 720 system that is less than two years old. I'm running Windows Vista. Thanks

There are certain conventions that are standard. Since you may not be using the right one, the post is confusing.:

Download is moving something from the Internet to a folder/location on your computer. If you bought the program on-line, then you could download it to your computer. If the download fails, then you can get kicked off the Internet or the Site.

Install is to run the download (or disc) exe (execution file(s)) so that it installs on your computer so that you can run the program. If you have a problem installing it, then you would get that type of message that you posted or other message concerning failed to install.

I'm not trying to dump on you; use of proper conventions will get you a better answer faster. ;)

I had the same trouble downloading--tried both Firefox and IE8. Finally used Google Chrome and it downloaded with no problems.

I would suggest downloading and installing Google Chrome, downloading Creator 2010, and then you can uninstall Google Chrome if you don't want it anymore.

Hope this helps.

The downloads work just fine with FF or IE8. If they didn't for you then you must have some browser setting which prevents the download.

I tried for hours using FF and IE8--Creator 2010 would download very quickly at first, keep getting slower and slower, then about halfway through wouldn't keep downloading. As soon as I downloaded it with Google Chrome, I had no problems whatsoever.

Not everything works the same for everyone, hence "forums" where people can discuss what works for them. Take the advice or leave it--makes no difference.
