Unable to pring label on disk with lightscripe

IrisRose

Question

Someone Please Help !

I am trying to print a label directly on a disk with creator 2009 " Label Creator" I made my label and saved it, but when I try to print, it still prints on paper. I select the Media as print to Disc. I don't understand what I'm doing wrong. I am very new at this and I have been trying for a few days now. I really need help if someone could help me I would really appreciate it.

I want to do this, this weekend; I need it for a gift by Tuesday, May 11. Thanks

PS I read the forum's tip "Key to any LightScribe writing" but I did not understand what I need to do (what steps) to print the label on the disk. :(

What part of the instructions do you not understand? Do you have a LghtScribe burner and are you using Light Scribe discs? Are you putting them in the burner wit the colored side down to burn the label?

Yes I do have the Lightscribe burner and the Lightscribe disk. I understand that I need to put the disk facing down the same as if I was burning a music CD. I also understood how to create the label, which I did. Now the burning part is what I can seem to do. the tips given in the forum said to right click on my masterpiece (which I suppose is my Blank Dic.jwl") I hate to sound stupid, but my blank disc file in my documents does not have jwl Anyway like I said I did the disk with the title and tracks like I want, but I do understand How to burn it on Roxio Creator 2009/ I don't see anywhere where it says to burn to disc. I only notice where it says print, in which case it only wants to print to a printer. I wonder will it be easier if I just download the lightscribe LSS software instead of trying to use Roxio? Do you know if Lightscribe is free or do I have to purchase it. Please help. I really do appreciate the help.

Thanks, IrisRose
