I use a Panasonic HDC-SD9 camcorder that records in AVDHD format on a SDHC card. I can play the clips on the camcorder and sound is present. When I go to import to Roxio, using Media Import, I can play the .MTS clips there before I import and the sound is present. Then, once imported, they are converted to MPG files. It is at that point that I seem to lose the audio for only SOME clips. This has occurred for 17 of 130+ clips I recently imported.
I just tried your suggestion of importing the AVCHD files directly into Video Wave and again lost the sound when it converted to the MPG editable format.
I can find absolutely no logical difference between the files that would cause this problem. Any other suggestions would be most appreciated!
