creator 2010 pro install interuptted

roxio creator 2010 cannot install. Message that install interuptted. Tried to copy files to hard disc.

 

Files copied until emc_12. received error message cannot copy data the request could not be

 

performed because of I/O device error. Unzipped file and copied until file

 

0486.0210056a_d2ed_4a92_bb67_870648730003.

 

Tried to send log files to customer service, but do not seem to get through. No record of ticket.

 

I read the post on how to get and zip log files. How would I send to someone in this forum?

If you can't extract all the files to a folder, there is probably something wrong in the downloaded file - what length is it (in bytes)?

I don't know as I erased the unzipped files in this folder E_content12. There were over 100 seperate files in this folder.

on the roxio 2010 disc the size of E_content 12 folder is 1,093,904,931 bytes.

 

The zipped data cab file is 1,090,671,576 bytes

You should have another .exe file called 'RoxioCreator2010Pro' which has to be installed first. Do you have that one?

 

If I recall correctly there are three files. Pro, Content and a shorter one caleld 'Disc2'

yes I have this file and the order in which the folders are arranged this would install before I get to the file Econtent_12 that seems to be the problem

 

This installer file is located in EMC_120 and named roxio creator 2010 pro msi. 24,347kb
