Hi! I used to use an old version of a Roxio product and LOVED it, but it went "out of date" and I had to buy the Roxio Creator and this is my first time trying to use it. I really didn't want all the "bells and whistles" - just what I was able to do easily before and I'm finding this version really frustrating.
Now I finally got this project put together, and it won't build it! It says it can't "encode" the first movie - which is a file off of one of my digital cameras. But I moved the file to be the second movie (so the "first" movie is a build of a slide show that I did which shouldn't have any problems if the other file is corrupted or something), and it still says the "first" movie has an error - so it didn't get past the slide-show file, either.
What is going on? Why won't it even attempt to build my project and burn it to the DVD? Is there a setting I am "missing" that I'm supposed to know to do first to tell it what kind of disc I have or something?? HELP!!!! I hate having to buy new software when my older software was what I really wanted to just get another copy of!!!!!
