Disc Errors burning DL data disks

I've been experiencing consistent problems where burning DL discs that are compatible with both Toast and my Mac fail. My benchmark has always been Verbatim DL discs, which have worked 100% in the past. Mixed results with others so Verbatim is the standard. Now, I'm getting failures with Verbatim discs. The hardware is fine, the discs are compatible, set the burn speed to an exact speed (2x) instead of "best", AND I can burn standard DVDs without problems. It only happens now with DL discs. It seems to have occurred since the last update.

 

Anyone else experiencing the same problem (Or better yet, found a solution)...

If you still have the previous version of Toast 10 (maybe on a Time Machine backup?) reinstall it to see if the problem is attributable to the latest update. It should be working. I haven't burned a DL disc since the update but I can give it a try in a couple days. What Mac and what drive do you have?
