Problems copying DVDs

Question

I have the same problem and I just purchased Creator2010 the full suite, today. My new laptop came with a stripped down Roxio version provided to laptop manufacturers OEM, called "Burn" that allows direct copy of DVD's only. The reason I upgraded was that I was told by customer service that I could reduce DVD size to fit on a DVD+R disk instead of always having to use the much more expensive DVD+R-DL. I cannot figure out how to compress a DVD copy either. Was I mis-directed or am I also missing something?

What kind of DVDs are you trying to copy? If commercial, copyrighted DVDs then C2010 will not do it since it is illegal.
