Tell me more about what settings you're using. Is it with Data, Audio, Video, Copy or all of them? I want to make sure I understand when the error is happening. Is it during the verification process after the disc is burned? Does it always happen at the same place?

A verification error on a video DVD seems strange to me. My guess is that DVD should still play without a problem (you could skip to near the end of the video to see if it freezes or something). I don't know why the error is happening. I do have a workaround. Choose Save as Disc Image instead of clicking the burn button. When that is done go to the Toast Copy window and select Image File as the setting. Then choose the .toast file that Toast just saved. Click the burn button. That should eliminate any verification error.

I think you answered your own question when you said "it works."
