Question

Hi

 

I just installed ROXIO VHS DVD software.

I have'nt any video signal with my old video tape.Howecer with new one I can see it in preview mode and capture.

Plse help me

Driver 2861 USB caprure seems OK.

ROXIO CREATOR unistaleld !

If it works with one and not another, the problem is the tape itself…

 

You can try something like putting a camcorder or DVD Player between the VCR and the Capture device to act as an amplifier.

 

Any device that has Video/Audio IN as well as Video/Audio OUT.

 

Curious, are you using a SCART adapter with your VCR?

Without you telling us exactly how you have got it hooked up, using what make and model of Scart we can,t be of much help. There are a multitude of scart cables out there.

Nothing wrong with a SCART (we don’t use them in North America) but like ogdens said, there are many of them out there…

 

Since you can capture some tapes, I don’t think the SCART is the problem.

 

You seem to be getting a weak signal on some tapes that stops capture. Let’s see how the ’boost idea’ works. ;)

 

Could be as simple as a different set of wires too :D
