B-Rad Man
I have created a DVD with 6 .mov titles in Toast 10. The program does a great job of creating a menu, so that all 6 "segments" are available. Is there a way to have it return to the main DVD menu after playing only that segment? In other words, rather than continuing to play the other "segments' on the DVD. Thanks for reading this post! B-Rad
0 tsantee
Yes. Uncheck the "Play all items continuously" box in the left panel of the Toast window. You will need to have Toast reauthor and burn a new DVD. To avoid needing to go through the encoding stage again, insert your burned DVD and choose DVD with the top button of the Toast Media Browser. (If the browser window isn't open choose Show Media Browser from the Windows menu). Now drag what appears in the browser window to the main Toast window with DVD video selected as the format. Toast extracts the MPEG video from the burned DVD to reuse in your new DVD. When that is complete you can eject the burned DVD. Now prepare the menu the way you want but uncheck continuous play option. Also uncheck the "Auto-play disc on insert" box if you want the menu to appear rather than having the first title start playing.
