Black panel instead of Picture

WW Training

Question

I am using Video Wave to make a movie. When I already have about 10 clips of DV-AVI video inserted into the storyline, I click "Insert video or picture" button and try to add a .jpg picture approximately 350x294 px. Video wave then asks me how I would like to insert it and I tell at to either add before, after or replace the current panel and I have even tried it as an overlay, but it always shows a black screen when I push play on the preview window while it is on the picture frame. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Joe

Maybe something wrong with that jpg file. Have you tried other jpg files?

Hi

I suffer a lot with that kind of problem. In my case I noticed that the issue was more frequent with photos taken by a professional camera. I do not know why, maybe the final picture was build in some way that my equipment and Roxio, together, are not happy. Well, after weeks of suffering I had duplicated the pictures to a temp folder using a program to convert all pictures in bmp (in this format I get the size multiplied by 6). Then a restart my project and I had a happy end. After the final product I have deleted the folder. I hope Roxio could fix this problem and I hope that solution could solve your problems.

Best luck

Jehferson
