topic title and description says it all.........anyone out there know how to fix it?

 

To make it easier for us: LP to MP3, program won't launch from desktop icon click

 

I'm sure there are people who do know how to use thir mind to see into your computer but the rest of us have to guess. What computer do you have and what OS? Actually just to confirm, what program do you have? Is it this one?.

 

Can ou open the program from Windows/Start/Programs/etc?

 

Repair or uninstall/reinstall after you have done this.

thanks for your kind interest.....program purchased with knowledge of OEM's status....did not purchase LP to MP3 for a machine on which it would not "fit".....have communicated with Roxio helper, but he/she has not answerred in last 24 hours since I sent a zip file he/she requested.....program is installed properly on a proper machine [xp] and will not lauch when i click the desktop icon...........thanks so much for your reply

I'm not sure what you mean by OEM status. Is that what you have? If so, support comes from the supplier of the computer or hardware supplier. I also don't understand the "computer fit" comment. Are you reluctant to post your computer specs or just don't know them? You have to provide more information such as what audio card you have (some don't work).

 

Do you have the disc or download? I would suggest that you remove the program using Revo Uninstaller in the MODERATE mode, cleaning your computer, prepare it as above, and then reinstall the program.

 

If you were going to wait for Roxio Tech support before you did anything, why did you post now?
