jeffk24
Hello, I'm using a brand new Dell Precision M4300 laptop, Windows 7, 64-bit, 6 gigs of RAM with Roxio Creator DE 10.3. I've been able to burn serveral data dvds with no problem. I'm now having issues. About 75% of the way complete, my disk is ejected and I'm given an error: Sense: 03 ASC: 73 ASCQ: 04 (Command 00) ------------------------------------------------------- px.dll: 4.16.17.0 pxafs.dll: 4.16.17.0 pxdrv.dll: 1.2.47.0 pxmas.dll: 4.16.17.0 pxsfs.dll: 4.16.17.0 pxwave.dll: 4.16.17.0 pxwma.dll: 1.0.0.3 Not sure what this means. I think the DLLs are version numbers, but the first line isn't telling me what the problem is. I've tried 7 disks and keep getting that error. I've tried using a different brand with the same result. Any ideas? thanks

Jim_Hardin
As Tony pointed out, Sense Errors have nothing to do with software, they come from your Hardware or Media. Also note that your Dell OEM 10.3 version in no way resembles Creator 2010… That OEM is base on a product from 3 versions and 2 years ago. Questions for that version should be under Legacy Creator Products – Here

Also note that your Dell OEM 10.3 version in no way resembles Creator 2010… That OEM is base on a product from 3 versions and 2 years ago. Questions for that version should be under Legacy Creator Products – Here DOH! Didn't realize that. The problem is that in a stack of 100 blank DVDs, I can burn other directories just fine. It's this one directory that gives the error. I think I'm going to try copy the directory and then burning that copied dir to disk and see what happens. Maybe it's saying there's a sector on my drive the burning software can't read, even though checkdisk says it's fine.
gi7omy
That particular error is listed as: 3 / 73 / 04 PROGRAM MEMORY AREA UPDATE FAILURE check the hard drive - defragment it and scan for drive errors
Question

Hello,
I'm using a brand new Dell Precision M4300 laptop, Windows 7, 64-bit, 6 gigs of RAM with Roxio Creator DE 10.3.
I've been able to burn serveral data dvds with no problem. I'm now having issues.
About 75% of the way complete, my disk is ejected and I'm given an error:
Sense: 03 ASC: 73 ASCQ: 04 (Command 00)
-------------------------------------------------------
px.dll: 4.16.17.0
pxafs.dll: 4.16.17.0
pxdrv.dll: 1.2.47.0
pxmas.dll: 4.16.17.0
pxsfs.dll: 4.16.17.0
pxwave.dll: 4.16.17.0
pxwma.dll: 1.0.0.3
Not sure what this means. I think the DLLs are version numbers, but the first line isn't telling me what the problem is. I've tried 7 disks and keep getting that error. I've tried using a different brand with the same result.
Any ideas?
thanks
