Chippychap
Rather than waste the thread. I seem to be in the same position. Trying to burn an audiobook onto CD's for the car. My car won't play MP3's so needs to be on more than one audio CD. Roxio Creater 2010 Pro tells me the audio book won't fit onto my CD disc. Do I have to edit the audio file into segments or will it do it for me? Thank you.
Chippychap
Firstly, thanks for moving my post. Update on my problem. Have used a seperate programme to split the file and just burned each half on a seperate disc. Just thought there may be a niftier way to do this task just using just Roxio. There may be but you have not supplied any details… What size discs are you using? What is the source for the Audio Book you want to create? What program are you using, if not [color-blue]Roxio Audiobook Creator[/color]???
Chippychap
Sorry about that. CD's are 700MB CD-R Audio book was D/L off the radio My radio won't play MP3's so converting to audio CD format. Used something called "Total Recorder" to just cut the original file in half prior to recording. Audio book creator just wants to burn 150 minutes onto an MP3 machine Audio Creator just says "your disc is too small".

OK, so you really have One audio file that it way too big Of course Burn Audio CD & Create Music Disc Projects are the only programs that will make a proper Audio CD… I do not believe either will split a too large file… (I don't have one big enough to test) But then there is Edit Audio and it will split & export. So one does not really need to use yet another program when everything is right there in the Suite
