Problem with MAK

Question

I am using a new 13'' macbook pro with snow leopard. I just bought Toast and was finally able to launch Tivo Transfer, but it says that the MAK doesn't match the one on my account. I entered my MAK from tivo.com and nothing happened. Is there something else I should be doing?

Take a look at what's shown on the TiVo itself in the Media Access Key screen (under Account & System Information). The MAK is a ten digit number -- copy/paste from a web form (like on TiVo's web site) can sometimes introduce invisible characters that can cause trouble. It's best to just clear out what's there and enter the 10 digits directly
