Trouble with EMC 10.1

I am having that same problem with Vista Home Premium after downloading Roxio Easy Media Creator Version 10.1.226 (an up-date for Version 10). It did fine after I did the 1st download which was the "program". After doing the 2nd download which was the "content", the computer shuts down and reboots once I enter the Roxio program and do anything or nothing after about 30 seconds.

Did you reboot after installing the program and before you installed the content? Did you check the size of the downloads; they may be truncated or just screwed up?

 

Try reinstalling/repairing from Windows add/remove programs.

 

Did you just do this or has it been awhile. That update is pretty old (probably 1 1/2 years).
