I am using my friends Mac that has Toast 10 on it and Final Cut Pro . I am sourcing AVCHD files (.mts) and transcoding them to HDV 1080i50. My question is why does Toast 10 limit the "Quality" to "medium". The bit rate is very low 3mgb/sec or less and its a shame this can't be increased to get a better result because the "Data rate" option remains blank.
Is this normal for Toast 10 or has my friend got a problem with the programme.
