bimicher
I am trying to take my home videos that have been put on DVD.s and edit small snipits and put them on a new DVD. How do I do it? No, editing and ripping are not the same thing at all. Ripping is the process of copying audio or video content to a hard disk, typically from removable media. The word is used to refer to all forms of media. Despite the name, neither the media nor the data in it is damaged after extraction Video editing is the process of editing segments of motion video footage, special effects and sound recordings A google search will give you more details as well as how to do it. You can also read some of the "Important Topics" in the various "How to" forums for further info. Basically you need to copy the Video_TS folder from the DVD to a folder on your hard drive. Then use Videowave (Edit video - advanced from the main C2010 menu page), click on Add video/photo, navigate to the folder containing the copied video and select one of the vob files in that folder. You can then edit the video. A good introduction is to watch the tutorials in the Learning Center.
