Cannot Import avchd from panasonic hdc-hs200

japdos

Question

Hello,

I'm trying to import video files from my panasonic hdc-hs200 and it does not work.

The softwware I using is "roxio creator 2010 pro" SP2 installed.

From "Roxio media import" I can see the content of my camcorder (*.mts files) but, when the software try to snapshot them,

their resolution info change from 1920/1440x1080 to "16x1080" as you can see in attach image.

So I cannot import correctly my video clips to hard disk.

What is the problem?

maybe an incompatibility issue with this hd cam?

thanks.

How are you trying to import? Are you copying the files from the camcorder to you hard drive?

First, you don't have to use Media Import. With hard drive and memory type camcorders, you can use Windows Explorer to just copy the files fromt eh camcorder to the hard drive. Then use THOSE files in your Creator 2010 projects.
