Roxio, does any of their software EVER work?!

mikesx4911

Question

Ok I have bought many roxio software in the past and have not been pleased with any of them, they either seem to be very complicated, or dont do what they say they do. My parents bough "Roxio easy vhs to dvd" which isnt very easy at all lol. I tried burning it directly to a disc and it would spit out a error every time. Im past trying to go directly to the disc I would prefer to just rip it to my hard drive. When I do capture it tells me theres no space left even though I have 1tb of space left lol. Screen shot included. Please give me suggestions, other wise Im going to write a letter to Roxio, and Im also very upset that they do not have any type of phone support.

If that image is showing the type of video you are trying to copy (ie a commercial movie) then VHS2DVD or any Roxio software will not do it because of copy protection/encryption. It is also illegal!

BTW, all of the Roxio software I have used (going back almost 8 years) worked just fine. Roxio has all sorts of phone support, just contact customer service.

well thats just retarded, there has to be a way to copy the movies and they need to put that in print on the box

Your problem is most likely a permissions issue and has to do with Windows, not the software…

In your Save To, try creating a New Folder for the capture to go in.
