Viewing In Full Screen Mode

travisab1

Question

I've been using products like this for years then I bought a new Dell 64 bit computer. Now, I can't use either Dazzle products, (they won't write a 64 bit driver). My Honestech went on the blink a month ago and can't get it fixed as of yet it played in full screen mode. That's why I'm using Roxio Easy VHS to DVD. It works fine for me in near all aspects except Full Screen Mode. Does Roxio Easy VHS to DVD plan to add this feature to its program/hardware? Sometimes my VHS's take up to 2 hours to render to digital. I have to watch this in a really small screen on my computer. It would be eye pleasing to sit back and watch on one of my two 22"HD monitors while the VHS is being digitized.

Thank you

Travisab1.

I doubt it very much - the computer is spending most of its power rendering (which it does as fast as it can and actually would speed up the 'picture') so actually viewing during render would slow things down a lot

Wellll, Thanks for the fast response. I wasn't really wanting to record while in full screen mode. I just wanted to watch my VCR movies and TV in full screen mode only. I've been doing that with Honestech for the past 6 or 8 months 'til something went haywire and I can no longer do that. You see, My computer screen is maybe 5 feet from my bed and my TV is like 10 feet from the bed with a 12 or 13 inch screen. That's why I'd like to be able to have the full screen mode mostly. If rendering from analog to digital in full screen mode is a no, no I can live with that...don't like it but what the hey. Think this will soon be possible?

Just wondering.

You can't capture or render in full-screen mode, but then, you don't use those applications for playback. Cineplayer will indeed let you switch to full-screen mode for playback without any problem once you have your movie all rendered and burnt to a DVD.

Yup;

Got that part...That's easy and understandable buttttt, me and Mayle Li jest had a lil' talk and maybe...just maybe, we'll be able to see Roxio come out soon with this option on the board with a simple add-in/on. Love my duel 22"HD monitors just a short 5' from the ole' sleepin' place. You compare that with a little (hate this piece o crap)TV monitor some 10 to 15' from the bed...you to would love to see this option. I'm an old fart and use a digital converter for my lil' 12 or 13" 15 year old RCA TV. What do you think my chances that Mayle Li will find a way to blow Honestech 4.0 in the next black hole? LOL...;>}ORRRR

Get a bigger TV (LCD) or move the bed closer to the RCA.

I'd rather pay Roxio $200.00 for this option than pay $800 for a 22" HD TV to fit on my Desk that now has 2 22" HD monitors and 8 Hard Drives and a 64 bit Dell computer. Not much room left in my RV...if you know what I mean...NOW...make this happen instead of asking me to buy a green car I don't need...You've gotta be kidding...Right? You can't be serious. How long would it take for a programmer to make this happen?

Now, vote for Obama's next four years as an American President. He's a good President. Why buy another President? Who knows...maybe he'll give you a new 48" Flat Monitor TV along with that new car, house and free money when you need it.

Sheesh,

I give up here. :angry2:

I think Tom Paxton might have beaten you to it

I am changing my name to Chrysler

I am going down to Washington D.C.

I will tell some power broker

What they did for Iacocca

Will be perfectly acceptable to me

I am changing my name to Chrysler

I am headed for that great receiving line

So when they hand a million grand out

I'll be standing with my hand out

Yes sir I'll get mine

So maybe I should change my acronym...not to BP but BS...Then I may be Nationalized and get a free 48" TV with the obamanization...This ain't no political thingy this is true. I love obama and want him for my father-in-law orrrr my spiritual advisor or just someone that will fix my Roxio to show full screen videos when I want them or just be there when I need him or oh hell what ta hell ever I want. Gotta love obama and that guy in Afghanistan with the 25 million bounty on his head...what's his face???

I'm not sure just what you're looking for... are you saying you want to be able to feed an analog signal into the USB Capture device and then just watch it in full screen mode, not capturing at the same time? My quick guess is that there may be more processing involved than it first seems, but it sounds like you may have a beefy enough system to handle something like that.

If that's what you're after I guess all we can do is see if someone from Roxio happens to notice this and thinks it's worth adding into the package.

Yup; That's what I want and had with Honestech hardware/software before it went on the blink. I hope Roxio will consider having this as an option.
