Warning: Your computer may be permanently damaged

XM2000

Question

So apparently, Roxio software does not uninstall. I followed instructions on how to "uninstall" through these discussion groups and my computer no longer starts up (I'm currently using another computer). Now I have to pay for a disk to reset my computer, and I can't hold Roxio liable for damages since I didn't go through their customer service.

SO PLEASE BE ADVISED OF THE POTENTIAL DAMAGES YOUR COMPUTER MAY INCUR IF YOU DON'T GO THROUGH CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSISTANCE, in fact I would advise you to avoid following the advice on these boards.

Hi XM200 -

The advice from our Guru's is pretty solid, but I can't vouch for newer members.

Do you have the forum links where you got your advice? Certainly, if there is any information that may be causing problems, we want to vet it out and remove it if need be.

Jon
