Blu-ray authoring/edit

With the Creator 2010 Pro is it possible to rip a blu-ray disc (no piracy issues), do a pull up edit (cut 3 minutes out of a 99 minute video) within a chapter, add a dissolve to the pull up and output (back to a blu-ray) without havinging to re-encode the entire file? Trying to avoid any video degradation when compared to the inputted master blu-ray.

To edit any video segment it has to be ripped and put on the hard drive.

 

Think about it - when you edit you need read/write permissions and you can't do that with an optical disc

Even with an RE disc, it will be finalized when authored so you cannot write the files back!

 

Even if you could there is that pesky ’Authored’ issue… You can’t just slap files on a disc, it won’t work
