Regards Bala I guess you got over your ‘No Permissions’ error? You posted last month and never came back… Although Sony has never made a disc, I think their re-branded discs are of very good quality. Still you might want to try a Verbatim. Could PAL be an issue for you? Is it possible that the disc was burned in NTSC and your home player can do both formats? How about R vs RW discs? Any difference there? Not related to your problem at all, but we Americans are Car Guys… What kind of car is this in?
sknis
WOW, you are great at asking questions but not so good as answering them. This should be a dialog and not a monolog. Please try harder! Since you are in the US, why are you using PAL settings? PAL won't work in most US players.

Almost there's 20 files. I used "no menu configuration" at Roxio burner.

You really want to check the manual for your car player and see what it recommends or requires! If it says PAL, then PAL it is and NTSC would be a total waste of time. If it says it prefers DVD ‘dash’ media, then using ‘plus’ is not going to work. Can the dealer or Player manufacture offer you any help?
gi7omy
You use 'no menu' if there's only one movie. If there's more than one, then you need a menu

If you burned a DVD that plays on a home DVD player then there is nothing wrong with DVD you created and the program worked correctly. The problem is your car player. What make/model is it. Look in the manual for that information. Of course there is also a limit to the amount of video you can put on a DVD. A standard 4.7GB DVD can only hold 60 minutes of video, any longer the video has to be compressed and you lose quality. Also if you are trying to burn copyrighted, commercial movies then that is illegal.

gi7omy
1: It plays on the computer 2: It plays on a set-top DVD 3: it does NOT play on a car DVD If it works in two places and not on the third - that's where the problem is - not in the DVD, the creation or the software, but the HARDWARE Did you try a different brand of media? You nefver answered that. Also did you try +R instead of -R (or vice versa?

reddy
Hi Once I use Verbatim dvd-r, I able to view at both car and home dvd player. But I unable to view all clips properly that I burn. It only can be view each of the clips approximately 1-2 minutes, (all clips length is 2-4). What might be cause? Any ideas Thanks Do you have a front monitor and someone is trying to view it while you are driving?
gi7omy
Verbatim or Taiyo-Yuden/JVC The thing is cheap DVD players uisually play anything (they use PC DVD-ROM drives) while top end players (like Panasonic) are more critical of the media and even the burn speed
