thad67
Hi All, I want to import the audio track from a dvd-r. I'm getting a read error when the attempt is made. I'm using windows 7 and have 2 dvd readers/writers. The movie will play just fine using Roxio CinePlayer. Thoughts?
gi7omy
Is this a disc you made yourself? If it's a commercial one, you won't be able to rip the audio (it's protected and no Roxio program will be able to extract it)

It would help to tell us what software you are using so that your post can be moved to the correct forum. If this is a commercial, copyrighted movie then no Roxio software will work besides it being illegal.

It is a dvd-r that I created using my LG dvd recorder.(not a pc burner, but vcr type of recorder). Is not a store bought dvd nor a copy of one. I was able to do this task using Creator 9. My version of creator 2010 is the full retail version. Creator 9 is uninstalled.
